Social bio:: Have lived around - Los Angeles, Europe, Boston, Orange County - and travelled much.
Presently, although I still drive up to L.A. to see friends and parents, I am finally feeling at home in the OC.
Most weeknights, you can find me out with friends, at gym or yoga, reading in a cafe, strolling the beach, painting or sketching, sometimes working late at the office, at a friend's dinner party, watching a play, movie, exhibit, at a gala or social/charity event.
Sense of humor, yes! I love to laugh - quick wit, sometimes wry - sometimes even at myself.
I also have the integrity and self-confidence to unabashedly admit my fears - once revealed, I can enjoy life and progress.
Travel as much as possible: exploring the Amozonas, horseback trekking through Patagonia, feeding wild dingos in Noosa Heads, getting lost at night in Tazmania, savoring St. Petersburg's white nights, sightseeing Angkor Wat,....
Grew up with an open mind to flavors, cultures, art, peoples, and porous borders. This exposure can be both uplifting and humbling. The more I experience, the more I want to share.
Spent several years in Western Europe - so in my voice there is a noticeable yet untraceable accent.
Undergrad was at UC Berkeley, studying economics along with the occasional rhetoric course; a pizza parlor put me through school and simultaneously expanded my appreciation for music to include everything from African pygmy rhythms to punk while still keeping my love for opera and the classics.
Grad school was at MIT, in Cambridge, MA: still miss the Boston area and the great folks there.
I love children, animals, and good people.
